When a piece of music was licensed for the opening scene of this award-winning animated film (from the executive producer of Rick & Morty🧪), I had the chance to achieve a secret goal of mine: hearing my music in a score while watching on the big screen. Doing so at a gorgeous historic theater for the premiere, surrounded by family who clasped my shoulders to shake me with excitement when the music began, and then called on stage for Q&A after was all icing on the cake. This was not a dream I ever expected to turn into reality.
